Thank you for shopping with Kashvi Silk, a premium Banarasi silk saree brand owned and operated by Trade Nexus. Every saree we offer is carefully inspected, quality checked, and packed before dispatch.
Our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy has been designed to ensure transparency while protecting both our customers and our business.
By placing an order on www.kashvisilk.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
Customers may request a return or exchange within 48 hours of successful delivery.
Requests submitted after the 48-hour window may not be accepted.
2. Conditions for Returns
A product will only be eligible for return if:
- It was delivered in a damaged condition.
- An incorrect product was delivered.
- The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
- The product received is significantly different from the item ordered.
Every return request is subject to verification by our Quality Assurance Team.
3. Conditions for Exchange
Eligible products may be exchanged if:
- The wrong product was delivered.
- The product has a manufacturing defect.
- The product was damaged during transit.
- The exchange request is approved by Kashvi Silk.
Exchange requests are subject to product availability.
If the requested replacement product is unavailable, the customer may choose another product of equal or higher value by paying the applicable price difference.
4. Non-Returnable Products
Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Product has been used.
- Product has been washed.
- Product has been ironed or dry-cleaned.
- Product carries perfume, deodorant, smoke, incense, or any other fragrance.
- Product has makeup stains, sweat marks, or food stains.
- Product has been altered or modified.
- Product is returned without original tags.
- Product is returned without original packaging.
- Product is intentionally damaged.
- Product is damaged due to improper handling after delivery.
- Return request is raised after 48 hours of delivery.
- Minor weaving irregularities, thread variations, or handloom characteristics that are natural to handcrafted Banarasi sarees.
- Slight colour differences due to photography, lighting, screen settings, or device display.
- Orders purchased during special clearance or final sale events, unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.
5. Return Request Process
To initiate a return or exchange, customers must contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery.
The following information must be provided:
- Order Number
- Customer Name
- Registered Mobile Number
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging
- A complete unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened until the product is fully displayed
The unboxing video must be continuous and unedited.
Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video may be declined if the reported issue cannot otherwise be verified.
6. Return Approval
Submitting a return request does not guarantee approval.
All requests are reviewed by our Quality Assurance Team.
Kashvi Silk reserves the right to approve or reject any request after verification.
Our decision shall be final in cases involving product condition or misuse.
7. Reverse Pickup
If the return is approved:
- Reverse pickup will be arranged where service is available.
- If reverse pickup is unavailable, customers may be requested to ship the product to the address provided by Kashvi Silk.
Proper packaging is required to avoid damage during return transit.
8. Return Shipping Charges
If the error is on our side:
Examples include:
- Wrong product delivered
- Manufacturing defect
- Transit damage
- Incorrect order dispatched
Kashvi Silk will bear the return shipping charges.
If the return is requested for customer-related reasons:
Examples include:
- Change of mind
- Personal preference
- Colour preference
- Ordering the wrong product
- Incorrect address provided
The customer shall bear all applicable return shipping charges.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds will only be processed after:
- The returned product is received by Kashvi Silk.
- The product successfully passes quality inspection.
- The return request is approved.
Refunds shall be issued only through the original payment method used while placing the order.
Cash on Delivery (COD) refunds, where applicable, may require the customer to provide valid bank account details.
10. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after successful quality inspection.
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment service provider.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by their destination country.
Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
